The story of the bird

Bachman’s Sparrow is the shy songster of the southern longleaf pine woods, a warm reddish-brown bird best known by its clear, whistled song rising from the grass. Its plate is a quiet, understated piece for a calm traditional room or a country home, and a considered conservation gift for a birder who knows the open pine savannas of the Southeast.

Paper and finish

The print is rendered in a contemporary Audubon-inspired natural-history style with a soft paper-grain finish. Unframed prints come on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm, a heavyweight fine-art paper with a soft matte surface. The framed option is set in a classic moulding, glazed and ready to hang, in black, white or natural.

Sizes

Three sizes: 8x10, 16x20 and 24x30 inches, framed or unframed. Prints from $39, framed from $99. Also available as a high-resolution digital download.
