The story of the bird
The Bobolink in breeding black, cream and buff, on a single Audubon-style plate. An unusual, conversation-piece gift for hay-meadow and prairie birders, and a graphic accent for a study or office wall.
Its bold black-and-cream pattern reads as strongly at 8x10 as it does at 24x30.
Paper and finish
Unframed prints come on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308gsm, a heavyweight cotton rag with a soft matte surface and true archival life. The framed option is set in a classic moulding, glazed and ready to hang, in black, white or natural.
Sizes
Three sizes: 8x10, 16x20 and 24x30 inches, or an instant digital download. Prints from $39. Framed from $99.
About the bird
Breeding males wear a striking reversed pattern, black below and pale above, unique among North American songbirds, and undertake one of the longest migrations of any songbird, wintering in South American grasslands.
